soooo i have been working on my paper 3 for a few days now, and a few minutes ago i re-read it and realized how off topic it had become. so now im pretty much starting from scrap at midnight and its due at 8. :( im going to try and get as much done as i can before i cant stay awake anymore which wont be for long. i suppose ill just have as much as i can peer-edited and have my roommate the peer-editing queen help me with rest.

so right now im working on paper 3 and my roommate decided that she needed to use the internet. now she said that she needed it to check her email to see if her professor emailed her back. so now im forced to use the wifi that sucks. and the best part is that shes checking her fantasy football scores. isn't that fabulous. i really need christmas to come faster than it is.

well back to my paper, and then to drawing for 3 hours and then i have no idea what ill be doing. have a spetacular day, i hope its starting off better than mine. :)

snow!

its snowing today and im SUPER excited about it. i wish it would stick. that would just make my crazy week so much better. im getting a little nervous about finishing all of my work, but i know that i can get it all done if i just stop procrastinating which im going to do starting today.

anyways like i said im super stoked about this snow. that is, until i actually have to go outside in it. then i probably won't be so excited about it.

well i suppose i should start getting ready for my first class today.

sooo much homework...

i have sooo much homework to finish before next week its not even funny. i need to get this paper started for this class. im going to start writing it after i write this blog.

anyways on a lighter note, i went to the christmas in ida festival yesterday and it was awesome. i saw joey page and it was everything i ever imagined. haha. also, in the parade was Jillian and Ed from the Bachelorette. it was really sweet to see them the reporter there hopped into their float and just started interviewing them. it was freezing but totally worth it.

i have to make so many floorplans before next week. i will be doing nothing but that for a long time.

today i got elected Respect Chair of my sorority. i have no idea what it is, but i think i can come up with some good ideas and make it a good position to have. so i pretty excited about the year to come.

well i suppose i should start doing some homework.

celebration and weekend :)

so yesterday was the celebration of student writing and it was actually pretty fun. my group spent our time there putting temporary tattoos on people. it was really cool. i got a temporary tattoo of a horse its pretty sweet if i do say so myself. you can't really see it but i promise its awesome.

but last night i went to IKEA with my roommate for a project for one of our classes. it was really awesome. i just really love IKEA, i can't help it. they have this black and white like canvas print of Audrey Hepburn that I want sooooo bad. and i probably would of bought it if it wasn't 50 dollars.
anyways, tomorrow i'm going home to go to christmas in ida. its a festival they have for christmas every year and its super funnn. joey page is going to be there. don't know joey page? neither do i. its just a joke between me and my friends. but he is a real singer on radio disney. he wears these silver pant suits and totally reminds of Aaron Carter in like 2001. its the BEST.

So I have had a cold for the last two days, and I can barely breath. It's pretty fantastic actually. I did my annotated bibliography, but i'm having trouble finding information about my topic at all. My topic is the River Raisin Jazz Festival and how it helps to boost tourism. I don't think that I could of picked a worse topic from the start. I have had trouble the entire time with finding information. But, it's okay I'll get it done:)

So I have to go help set up for the celebration of student writing soon. I got some more tattoo pictures to go on our poster board. I think our project is going to be pretty cool so im excited. :)

so i decided that because i forgot about this blog the entire semester, im going to try and blog everyday. i don't know if that will make up for the ones i forgot about but, im going to try anyways. im actually starting to enjoy this whole blogging thing, i never thought i would but i am.

i have a model due for my design theory class tomorrow and i have yet to start it. but it's cool im not that concerned about it. ill definitely get it done. also, today i realized just how addicted to pepsi i am. but, it's cool. im pretty over it. everyone thinks i drink a lot of it but really i drink way more at home when i have pretty much an unlimited supply. but, no one really cares about my favorite pop now do they.

well, i suppose i should start my model considering its due in like 13 hours. wish me luck. :)

hello again...

soooo, i already posted on here today but since then some crazy things have happened to me. so recently my printer has been jamming alot and has been making some crazy noises, i thought that it was just being stupid but it wasn't. today im printing off my powerpoint for one of my classes and it starts making that noise again. my roommate starts flipping out. so i opened the cover and what do i find....ohhh nothing other than bobby pins. of course because only the craziest things happen to me.

after this i go to my other classes and im coming back to my room. i had a ton of stuff in my hands so i took the elevator like the lazy bum i am. i press the 4th floor button and it opens and i leave the elevator. i get about half way down the hall and then i realize im on the wrong floor. it was great. i laughed for like 10 minutes. now im doing my research on tattoos for the csw project. im learning some pretty interesting stuff. im pretty pumped about it.

Sooo, I survived the 8 hour car ride with my father to Tennessee. It was interesting to say the least. He decided that it would be a good idea to buy a gps before we left, which it was but...my sister also gave him directions. But we followed the gps or more affectionatly known as Benny. We ended up taking the scenic route, but it's cool.

Also, I recently decided that I needed to have a twitter. Why? I have absolutely no idea. I don't understand it. At all. I pretty much only go on there to follow Taylor Swift. I like to pretend she's my best friend. I'm really not a stalker, I promise. But my friend Kimmy did make this picture of me, her, and Taylor (our BFF) it's pretty fab as you can see.

I mean if you're a little jealous, it's understandable. haha justtt kidding :)

So Thanksgiving is next week and I'm pretty pumped about it. I'm going to Tennessee to see my sister, brother-in-law, and my adorable nephew. He's the cutest. But I think that my favorite part will be the 8 hour car ride with just my father. It's gonna be great.

But anyways, I have recently made a new life goal for myself (other than being Taylor Swift's bff). I have decided that me and my roommate are going to become youtube sensations. We made a video for our friend McLaine after her fish died and its mostly the best thing ever. I'm just saying.

I'm also really excited about the Celebration of Student Writing. My groups topic is tattoos and I think it's going to be really cool.

That's about it for now. I'll try to keep you all updated on my trip to Tennessee I'm sure that it will be an eventful holiday. They usually are.

model building :)

So, I pretty much completely forgot about this blog until right now. So I thought that I should update it considering I'm supposed to. So anyways, my classes are going alright thus far, even though the semester is almost over.

As I said in my last post I'm an Interior Design major and for Interior Design you have to build all these crazy models. So, I build this model and the name of the assignment is to 'Decoding the Abstract' (I have no idea what decoding means either.) So I'm building my model, thinking I'm awesome and then the tube the glue came gets punctured and I have get the glue out from the side. Then, the glue just decides to stop making the pieces stick together. My roommate, who is an Interior Design major too gives me her tacky glue and I think everythings awesome and finish the project. So, I'm getting ready for class and I pick up model, right no big I'm just going to class. Oh but wait, it then proceed to begin falling apart. 10 minutes before class. So I just glue it back together and put it on top of a locker in Roosevelt to wait for it to be graded.

A week later, I go to get it to turn it in and what do I see...Oh the plastic I used just melted. I really have no idea why the world hates me so much, but something like this would only ever happen to me. I'm pretty sure there was like a chemical reaction between my model glue and
the tacky glue. So I turned it in deformed and all. Then this past Wednesday I get my model back with my grade sheet, somehow I got an A- on a crazy, deformed model that I really, truly don't even know what the project was about. But, the best part is that on my grade sheet my professor wrote "Please Improve Craftmanship." To which I responded, " Really, I can't imagine why."

First Post!

Hola Everyone,

I guess I'll start by telling you all a little bit about myself. First, you should know my name is Adrienne and I'm an Interior Design major. I'm from Monroe, you probably don't know where that is, and you probably don't want to either. There is absolutely nothing there, until I came to Eastern I had never been to a Starbucks. I still have to go to Barnes and Noble and Dairy Queen, but it's on my list of to do's.

Anyways, I haven't really ever blogged before, expect for like 2 weeks in 7th grade when me and my friends thought it would be cool to make a livejournal about Degrassi. Lame. Yeah I know.

Well I guess for this blog I'll be posting questions or comments about assignments for English 121. So if anyone has questions, feel free to ask and I'll try to answer. I will probably be asking some questions as well.
